What is a re*creation?

A recreation is a material product (or an implementable manual/how-to for a product) that always is:

a) practical to use
b) made from at least 50% rubbish
c) made entirely by hand


This means that re*creations by nature
- solve a current problem (that's-the-what's-in-it-for-me-question)
- reduce waste (that's-the-what's-in-it-for-us-question)
- are totally climate neutral (that's-the-what's-in-it-for-everyone-question)



Re*creations are similar to upcycled products just with tougher criteria. While an upcycled product may be made with the help of electronic tools, may in total reuse only a little bit of our rubbish or solve no real problem, a true re*creation must guarantee all of the criteria you can see in the infographic above!

Yes, true re*creations are very rare! But it is possible to create and produce them meeting the quality we desire! I like to set an example with my products and my art/crafts. They can all be tagged as re*creations. Check them out!
