That's me. Tanja Burgdorfer alias Mayari. A young, Swiss designer full of ideas trying to make things better designed and share her ideas and products with others. What can I say more? Sometimes I feel, I don't know who I am. This is pretty normal for people who think too much, I guess...
:: biography
Born into the Swiss countryside in Emmental I moved to the capital city Bern at the age of 8. In 2003 I went to study design in Zurich for 4 years whereas in 2006 I spent 8 months studying and working in China (Wuxi and Shanghai). After my graduation I went working here and there, earning money to be able to go traveling through Asia - a dream I've had for a long time came true.
Coming back to reality I found work in London. I had an unforgettable time with a great team doing noble projects. Unfortunately, I was only able to work there for 3 months. Although I like Switzerland a lot, I would rather stay in London as I feel this is the place where I can find fruitful collaboration for positive changes. I know I could be wrong.
