Introducing a new word and label: re*creation

I invented the term and label "re*creation" (spoken: re - pause(!) - creation) because there was no other word that could easily describe the new products and ideas I make.
"Practical, recycled, handmade products" would maybe be the closest word. This was too long. "Upcycled products" was not radical enough and therefore not accurate to me.

So I thought: Why not invent a new word and label?!

This is not only for products by mayari!

I don't want this word and label to be used exlusively for Mayari. I know there are creatives out there that have similar offers and the exact same problem. I would be happy for them to use the re*creation word and label as well! Let's spread the idea, the word and its label!!!

Here are the criterias in order to be able to apply the label to your products or ideas:

	The product must be practical and solve at least one problem i.e. its purpose is not decoration or evoking discussion only! In other words, it can't be seen as art only. However, it can be something in between art and design. In case of uncertainty there will be a poll.
	The producers must be open to questions and suggestions from their prosumers. They have to try to collaborate as much as possible. If wishes can't be implemented, the producers have to clearly explain why.
	At least half (50%) of the final product's mass (weight on planet earth) or volume must be from a product that has been in use for an other purpose before.
	At least half (50%) of the final product's mass (weight on planet earth) or volume must be recyclable after its life span.
	The product must be made entirely by hand using hand tools only (no electricity needed i.e zero emissions). Yes, this is a very extreme and tough criteria. It applies for the production process only - marketing, logistic etc. are not included.
	Handmade can also mean the raw material is processed by hand using electronic devices. If this is the case, the 100% must be crossed out and the alternative re*creation label which you can find further below must be used.
this should be taken for granted:
	The product's origin is clearly visible. The artist or company bears for the product whith his/her name and will sincerely give all the information he/she has regarding the product if asked for (like origin of the raw material etc).	proudly produced by ...
	The people who produce and work for the product must be treatend with respect and care (fair wages, healthy environment).	100% LOVE

All these criteria are tough to fulfill at once

That's why I created alternative labels that can be used if one to three of the above criterias are not applicable to your product. If you use the detailed infographic as well, please cross out the criteria that doesn't apply (like shown above for the products that are not 100% handmade.) You may never cross out following criteria: reuse, practical, handmade as they are vital for the label.
