Tanja Burgdorfer aka Mayari

I remember stories. Here is mine in words. It is true.
As a child I always wanted to become either a butterfly, a Native American Indian girl or an inventor. I am still fascinated by butterflies but I gave up the dream of turning into a colourful and vibrant insect. The same goes for my dream of living in harmony with the American plains being a sensitive yet strong Indian girl. The Indians of my imagination do not exist anymore.
Therefore I became a designer. It is how I can get close to my third dream:
being an inventor.
As an inventor I can make use of whatever crosses my mind, catches my eye or slips through my fingers. What to do with this talent? I see my mission and my gratification in acting according to nature´s sense and in favour of people´s needs by creating meaningful and valueable strategies and services. I aim high, I am an optimist.
See my story in a video. I made it in a day as part of a tinkering project at artschool called "Was ich immer werden wollte".
furthermore...
I am 50 - 50 Asian and European.
I like living in colourful and vibrant cities, talking to nice and/or wise people, being near to clear water.
I keep trying to find patterns, understand people, preserve nature.
People say I'm crazy and naive. I don't mind.
